Local School Governance Team 

Floyd County Schools is a Georgia Charter System.  A key element to charter is moving decision making closer to where the learning takes place.  That means leaving decisions to the individual school systems and to the schools within that system.  It also mean involving more people in the decision making process - involving parents and community leaders in school decisions.
